CITY GIRLS

When women went into business, the city was changed forever. The gold quilting threads represent the influence of those women as it reaches far beyond where they could ever be. This quilt is in honor of women who paved the way for the rest of us. Their influence not only emanates from them, but wafts into the breezes to spread far and wide. The cityscape was inspired by "Skyscrapers Quilt" made by Jennifer Watchorn, of Handcrafts by Jennifer.
